The World FUE Institute is proud to announce that Dr. Tony Ruston, President of the WFI, will lead the 10th World FUE Institute Workshop in Lima, Peru, from April 21 to 24, 2027.
Dr. Tony Ruston is widely regarded as one of Brazil’s most respected and experienced hair restoration surgeons, renowned for his precision, artistry and consistently natural, long-term results. With over two decades dedicated exclusively to hair transplantation, Dr. Ruston has earned a reputation for meticulous standards, ethical practice and outcomes that stand the test of time.
Based in São Paulo, he is one of the founding members of the World FUE Institute and a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).
A vision built on four pillars
Under his presidency, WFI 2027 will focus on what moves our discipline forward:
- Advanced concepts and techniques: refined surgical approaches, shared openly, from extraction to implantation.
- Donor mapping and management: planning every case for the long term, so that each graft counts and the donor area is protected.

A new chapter for the World FUE Institute
Dr. Ruston leads the Institute alongside Dr. Miriam Scheel, Scientific Director, Dr. José Lorenzo, Workshop Committee Chairman, and committee members Dr. Bruno Pinto and Dr. Emily A. Laochunsuwan. Together, they are building a programme of live surgery, scientific sessions and hands-on learning that reflects the highest standards of FUE hair restoration.
